The Malaga Christmas Lights are one of the highlights of the festive period and the beginning of Christmas for the locals. In this post we’ll let you know when and where you can see the light shows, and you’ll get to see a sneak peak of this year’s display.

Where Will The Lights Be This Year?

This year you will be able to enjoy the Christmas lights from a number of different locations. Firstly, the main area for the lights will be on Calle Larios as usual. But you will also get to see spectacular light displays on the Alameda Principal street, Calle Granada, Calle San Juan and Calle Carcer.

You will most likely spot 4 huge trees covered in lights and a long stretch of lights down the ‘Paseo de Parque’.

When Will The Lights Be Switched On?

This year the Calle Larios lights will be switched on for the first time on Friday 29th November at 6:30 pm by Antonio Banderas, with a fantastic light and sound show to kickstart the festive period.

If you prefer to see the Christmas light show on another day, there will be lights and sound shows every day at 6:30 pm, 8:20 pm and 9:30 pm, until the 6th January 2020.

Have a sneak peak at what the lights will look like this year below.
